Dr. Maziad completed several spine-focused fellowships at prominent institutions such as The Hospital for Special Surgery, Weill Cornell Medical College, Boston University, University of Connecticut and UCSF with specialized training and experience in a wide spectrum of minimally invasive and complex spinal surgeries.
His clinical strengths include complex spine procedures, deformity correction as well as minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques designed to speed recovery and enhance outcomes. Many of his surgeries are performed in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to return quickly to their active lifestyle.
Dr. Maziad maintains academic appointments in USA and overseas and is actively involved in resident teaching and academic research. Beyond his work in the United States, Dr. Maziad volunteers regularly for spine mission trips in Africa.
Dr. Maziad spends time to understand each patient’s individual needs and to design tailored treatment plans that help restore function and quality of life.
