Indira Figueroa, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CCM, is a dedicated and bilingual Nurse Practitioner who specializes in family medicine and wound care. With over a decade of clinical experience, she brings a strong foundation in patient-centered care, chronic disease management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Ms. Figueroa is joining the Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine team at Florida Joint and Spine Institute, where she will contribute her expertise to the comprehensive management of musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions.

Her background includes a successful tenure as a Case Manager with UnitedHealthcare/Optum, where she led patient education initiatives, quality improvement strategies, and care coordination for complex conditions such as diabetes and heart failure.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from South University, is certified in case management, and maintains active memberships in the American Nurses Association (ANA), Florida Nurses Association (FNA), and the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES).

Ms. Figueroa is committed to advancing healthcare outcomes through compassionate, culturally competent, and evidence-based care.
Outside of her clinical work, Indira finds joy in the simple moments, cherishing time with her family and unwinding through creative outlets like painting and going to the beach, and discovering new places.
